Mango Security Systems Inc. (originally founded in October of 1973 as Tom Mango & Associates) grew out of the desire of alarm industry expert, industrial electronics engineer and licensed master electrician Tom Mango to offer new and inventive ways of helping to keep people safe.

Enthused about the technological breakthroughs in control and detection equipment, progressive wiring, and installation techniques that the digital electronics revolution was spawning, Tom believed that the large commercial security companies’ “cookie-cutter” approach to security systems could be dramatically improved.

Tom’s idea was to work with end-users as people, not accounts, helping them to create a system tailored to their individual needs and budget, and to make people aware that there were a variety of solutions to their particular security problems.
